(lovački dom „Kuna – Kalje“, Ječmište, Pogane jame)
Već smo se u nekoliko navrata popeli na Sv. Geru, obišli pl. kuću Vodice i dom Farkaš, uživali u ranoproljetnom ugođaju na vrhu Pliješa, u najljepšem žumberačko-samoborskom slapu Sopotu … Trebalo je naći nešto još neviđeno…
Lutajući zemljopisnom kartom, svidio nam se naziv Grič, a i lovačka kuća „Kuna“ mamila nas je na tu stranu, s glavnim ciljem – osvajanjem Ječmišta, jednog od najviših vrhova Žumberačke gore.
Po nekim izvorima je to vrh od 979 m, po drugima 976 ili 978. U istoj se knjizi mogu naći 2 različita podatka (Poljak, Hrv.planine,str….). Na kraju se ne zna je li Pliješ viši ili niži od Ječmišta?! Po oznakama na vrhu ipak bi Ječmište bilo za 1m više: 978 m a Pliješ 977.
Ima naša „Kumova družina“ visinomjer, istina ne profesionalni, pa on kao i navedeni podatci svaki put pokazuje malo drukčiju visinu – 2-3 m je, izgleda, normalno odstupanje.
Inače, oni koji dobro poznaju Žumberačku goru znaju da postoji vrh koji je, uz Sv. Geru, drugi tisućnjak Žumberka: Ravna gora, 1001 m. U planu Karlovačke obilaznice to je 6. kontrolna točka, preko 300 m viša od gore istog imena, poznate Ravne gore kraj Trakošćana.
Već na početku puta otkrili smo i novi lovački dom na Grandovici i simpatično Žumberačko Selce (na770 m nadmorske visine) od kojeg se pruža vidik prema slovenskoj Kostanjevici, Krki i okolnim selima.
Od doma na Grandovici ima nekih 500 m asfaltiranom uskom cestom koja završava u – privatnom dvorištu. Ništa neobično za Žumberak, barem se nama, koji smo već nekoliko puta završavali u tuđem dvorištu, tako čini.
Svečani doček priredila su nam tri poveća psa: najlajaviji nasreću na lancu, ostali iako izgledom opasniji, vjerojatno šarplaninci, lajali su više dobrodošlice radi. Gazda im je bio zaposlen piljenjem pa nam nije pravo ni odzdravio, a mi baš i nismo imali volje za izlaženjem iz auta. Napravili smo krug i pozdravima ispratili dugodlake bundaše i pomalo zbunjenog vlasnika. Uspjeli smo ih poslikati (iz auta), zaista su pravi…
Sa „Žumberačke magistrale“ skrenuli smo u Petričkom Selu desno jer smo išli iz pravca Bregane. Skretanje nije uopće markirano: treba proći uz nekakvu staru ali veliku drvenu štalu, kolnim putom koji više liči na ulaz u neko dvorište. Nakon 1-2 km put se račva u dva ogranka; lijevi skreće prema zaselku Griču, a desni, glavni, tada su koristili i šumski radnici radi izvlačenja trupaca.
Putem smo upoznali Miju (Miloša), starosjedioca sela Griča. Uz čašicu „šljive“ pričao nam je o svom samačkom životu, o tužnoj sudbini velikog broja žumberačkih sela. On je jedan od posljednjih stanovnika Griča. Živi usamljeno, čuvajući krave, svoje jedino bogatstvo i najčešće društvo. Sjećat ćemo se njegove gostoljubivosti, gljivarskih savjeta o mjestima gdje rastu najbolje gljive i njegova pozdrava. Nekako istovremeno upoznali smo i gđu Dragicu, planinarku i ljubiteljicu prirode, Mijinu staru poznanicu.
Prema Miškovim uputama stigli smo do lovačkog doma „Kuna“.Ono što smo zatekli na livadama i u šumi uokolo nećemo brzo zaboraviti. Nepregledne kolonije gljiva raznih vrsta a najviše otrovnih ljepotica muhara.
Na obližnjoj smo njivi pronašli i nasade arnike ( zaštićene ljekovite biljke koja je gotovo nestala nekontroliranim branjem).
– Da bi arnika rasla moraju se njive redovito kositi. Ona i korov ne idu zajedno- stručno nam tumači naša gljivarica.
Na livadi smo pronašli krasne sunčanice, a u šumi crne trubače. To što su neki upropastili majicu, manje je važno: gulaš od trubača, to je misao koja nam draži osjetila: opet ćemo se lijepo nakrkati plodova prirode…
Nakon jela krenuli smo prema Ječmištu. Put nas je vodio preko lijepe dugačke visoravni, prošarane proljetnim cvijećem i još neprolistanim ili tek malo rascvjetanim drvećem. Staza zatim skreće uzbrdo kroz šumu, ali nije ni prezahtjevna ni predugačka. Za otprilike pola sata bili smo nadomak vrhu, kod jedne čeke gdje smo se presvukli i odmorili, popeli se na osmatračnicu i prepoznavali okolno samoborsko i žumberačko gorje.
Na vrh smo stigli za desetak min. Tu smo pronašli kutiju sa žigom, napravili nekoliko fotografija i dalekozorom tražili poznate destinacije: Pliješ, Sv. Gera , Sošice… Na povratku se prisjećamo kako smo prije nekog vremena poduzeli sličan izlet, ali Pogane jame nismo pronašli, niti se popeli na Ječmište. Nama to i nije neka tragedija; bit će još puno prilika (pa nismo još ni u mirovini) da osvojimo neki neosvojeni vrh. Sada smo, iz drugog pokušaja, uspjeli osvojiti Ječmište i pronaći Pogane jame.
Od doma treba starom neasfaltiranom cestom oko pola sata vožnje da se stigne do zapuštene drvene kuće. Budući da nema putokaza, ona je dobar orijentir, kao i s druge strane omanja zelenkasta vikendica, nekih 150 m od ceste, ali djelomično zaklonjena drvećem . Uputili smo se uz potok prema njoj, ali prvo iznenađenje nas je dočekalo u obliku fićine olupine. Odmah smo se uz nju slikali, pomalo ogorčeni zbog ružnih navika naših ljudi. Ubrzo smo vidjeli špilju u podnožju brda u koju se ulijeva naš potočić. Zaista lijepo i pogodno za boravak manjeg društva ljeti po velikim vrućinama.
– Moramo se još ovog ljeta vratiti ovamo u punom broju – govorili smo jedan drugom, misleći pritom na odsutnog člana Kumove družine.
I dok smo se ispunjeni novim utiscima predavali sanjarenju, naš je accent lagano klizio niz cestu. Kao da se i on nerado vraćao u velegradski smog.
